STRONGER TOGETHER: Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha (third left) joins hands with other Asean leaders at the summit in Manila on Saturday. Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has urged Asean member countries to strengthen themselves domestically and increase immunity from new threats. He made the remarks during his address at the 30th Asean Summit in Manila on Saturday as he called for regional resilience and increased regional trade. He also called on member countries to boost cooperation to achieve the goal of sustainable development while creating partnerships with other countries outside the bloc and international organisations. The prime minister said Asean should establish constructive connectivity with the Asia-Pacific region and the world in driving the Asean economy.
